Can the CLIKR-5 Remote Samsung SmartTV

Hello:
I have the CLIKR-5 remote from spectrum. This remotes just as it should. It will even turn the TV on. However, if I want to use the features(apps, etc) of my Samsung smart TV, I have to switch and use the remote that came with my smart TV.

Is it possible to get the Spectrum CLIKR-5 to control my smart TV. I have a hunch it can’t be done.

Is there some type of a universal remote that allows me use only one remote to control Spectrum and my Samsung smart TV?

Regards,
KP

The feature you describe would be a useful competitive advantage if it existed.  Since neither Spectrum nor Samsung make any mention of such a capability, I believe your hunch that it does not exist is accurate.

Spectrum's remotes are designed to work with TV's through the years.  The Smart Apps. are a little too new.  But at some time in the future, something like this could come out for the new World Boxes and their brand new remotes.

The app might be a useful feature for the "D" button on some remotes that does nothing at this time.
