Can still watch movie rented from a cable TV box in web browser?

Hello.

$5.99 Parasite movie was rented for a couple days on a non-DVR digital cable TV box. Obviously, it won't play on another cable TV box (DVR) in the same house. They're all using Navigator systems.

However, I noticed I could still play it in my decade old 64-bit W7 HPE SP1 PC's web browsers. I thought only one device was allowed that I was told almost five years ago. Or does that only apply to cable TV boxes (it would had been nice to re(sume/watch) it on a different cable TV box in another room without a computer)?

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering. Smiley Happy

    @ant ,

    You are referring the legacy TWC Whole House DVR feature that is no longer supported.

    No, this house never had that.
