Intermittent internet issues for three months.

I have been having these issues since April. I have had two regular techs 2 supervisory techs one line crew and another on the way with no fix.

    We need more info.

     

    What services do you have? Internet only? Phone? TV?

    What modem and/or router do you have? 

    How is it connected from the drop? Splitters? Amps?

    Single family home or apartment?

    When this issue happens do all devices (wired and wireless) disconnect or only some but not others?

     

    Post signal levels as well.

    I have Internet only

    Single Family Home

    I have a new netgear modem

    I have new lines in the house no splitters.

    The tech's every time they come out have put a different filter on.

    The line from the communcation lines to the box is new from the box to the house is new.

    This issue happens to all devices. 

     

    One of the Techs that came out confirmed that the issue was not my house but on spectrum's end. They have sent out a road crew on the 3rd which has not fixed the problem.

    I have another one that is supposed to come out but has an open ended time so I do not know if this will becompleted soon or never.

    Nothing stands out to me there...maybe someone else here will notice something I don't.

     

    What kind of filters are the techs installing? 

     

    Do you know if any of your neighbors are having similar problems? That would definitely be a sign of a larger issue not localized to your home.

    I am seeing that we have been out today and the tech believes he has located the issue. 

     

    Maintenance has been alerted to this. Please let us know if you are still having problems

    in a few days. I am sorry, I do not see when that appointment will take place. Generally 24-48 hours is the goal.

    He stated the issue was located and a line crew would be out. It has been a few days later and the problem has not been resolved. He acknowledged it is not on my end but between two of your poles.  They also said they would follow up and they have not.

    Those crews rarely, if ever, have any direct customer contact.

    They said the line would need to be restrung. It weaves between trees. Even if they did not trim them there would be smaller branches that fell signaling something had been done. There has been nothing and there has been no change in internet.
