Why are we experiencing chronic buffering about every few minutes via the Spectrum TV app?

We've checked our connections and that's good. Our TV's work fine. It's Spectrum service that is the root cause. We get your answer and understand about live TV being problematic, but what's the plan and timeline to get these chronic buffering issues resolved? We're in the Tampa area (Pasco, Hillsborough, Pinellas).

    Good afternoon.

    Are you using a Roku TV or a Samsung?

    The items you can check on your connection are somewhat limited. If you are able to login to your modem you can check the FEC data and the modem logs. While your speeds and signal levels may appear good, small timeouts or high uncorrectables, even the corrected codewords can cause buffering through the Spectrum TV application.

    The amount that is preloaded for live TV is not likely to change, the quality of the delivery is dependent, for the most part, on the connection.

    If you are able to login posting your information here would help in diagnosing the issue. Are you using a wireless connection or you able to hardwire any of the devices for testing?
