Cannot schedule DVR recording on iPAD after latest update

Since the last update on 11/26 can no longer schedule recordings on shows longer than 1 hour.

Second ipad did not install the update and that one could still schedule recordings. The next day the app was updated and now that one has the same problem

    Just installed latest update and now can schedule recordings again.

    Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app?

    Have tried the following:

    Power iPad off and back on

    Logged out of app and logged back in

    Deleted app and reinstalled

    Which version iPad are you using and which OS is installed? Also, which model DVR do you have?

    A quick follow up to your issue. I was able to locate your account information based off your registration and noticed that the modem you are using is minimally qualified and not rated for the service level you are currently subscribed. We recommend swapping your modem for a new one that is rated for your service level. You can do this, free of charge, at a local Spectrum store. Updating the modem will likely resolve any app responsiveness issues you are experiencing. If it does not resolve the issue, please let us know.

    iPad Air - original version

    ios 12.4.9

    DVR- DCX3510MHD

    Was not having any problems until latest app update. One of the fixes was DVR playback. Looks like it broke DVR recording. I did some further checking and I can schedule some shows that are less than 1 hour long but nothing over 1 hour on any channel.

    I will need to check on swapping the modem.

    I just checked the reviews and there are multiple reviews reporting the same issue that I first reported. I hope the developers read the reviews and get this issue fixed.

    Thanks for the response. Optimal functionality requires OS 14 or better, however this update is currently only available on iPad Air 2 or better. Do you have a different device that you can test the DVR recording feature?

    All I have is the iPad Air and mini 2 both on 12.4.9.

    The specs for the app show that both the iPad and IOS versions are supported.

    Can look at the reviews and sort by most recent and you will see multiple posts for the same issue.

    Any update on this issue? There were two other threads on this issue but they are no longer listed. One of them had the problem on both iPad and iPhone running IOS 12 and 14. There are more reviews posted with this problem. Have not been able to schedule recordings for a week now.

    I opened Incident: 201201-000367 via a support email to Charter and have not received any update. Can I please get an update?

    Sorry for any confusion. We do not offer email support. The ticket number you mentioned is only a message receipt when you send a message to the developer email listed on the app. You should have received a bounce back email pointing you here for additional support.

    I have the same issue. I am unable to record some shows from the app on my iPHONE 11 ios 14.2 or my iPAD Air ios 14.2. I am able to record shows using the PC website and using the DVR directly. All of this worked before.

    Can not schedule recordings on DVR from iPhone, which I was able to do previously.

    iOS v14.2

    Spectrum App v8.12
