Ethernet connection can't "see" wifi PCs on home network

My RAC2vik works just fine except ----- when I connect my own PC to it with an ethernet cable, the other clients on the net (all using wi-fi) are invisible to it. If I unplug the cable, and use the wi-fi card, it works fine.

Do I need to set a formal workgroup?

    Hello,

I am not sure I am understanding what you are trying to do. Are you trying to connect to the wifi and it goes away when you connect your PC?
