How do I re-activate the USB port on the Askey RAC2V1K Wifi router?

Attached a VOIP device (Magicjack) to the USB port on the router and it worked fine for several days. Then without any notice the USB port was deactivated by Spectrum. What's with that?

    Good afternoon. The USB access should have been blocked from the start. If the router we are supplying is not meeting your specific needs we would need to direct you to purchasing and maintaining yourown equipment. You may find some advise on what routers function well with Magicjack on a board for that. I am sorry this set up does not work for you.

    That port on the Askey RAC2V1K device is only useable for servicing. It is not a phone, network, video, or audio port for any type of user connection.
