App drops out and buffers with Samsung A7.

    The app was updated on 3/22. Can you try deleting and reinstalling the app again and let us know if the issue continues?

    Are you seeing the buffering on all channels or just one? Have you done any troubleshooting, such as rebooting the device and the modem/router yet?

    Problem on all TV channels. Rebooted both modem and router. Rebooted tablet, reinstalled app several times.

    Tried both 2.4 and 5G wifi connection as well as T-Mobile hot spot.

    App okay on iPad and Samsung J7 Prime cell phone.

    Problem on Samsung A7 tablet, SM-T500, version 10. Worked fine until midday yesterday. Lots of buffering before app drops out. Does not run more than 3 to 5 minutes.

    It sounds like based on your troubleshooting so far that the issue may be with the tablet itself. Do you know if anything has changed at all on the tablet, such as an operating system update or anything like that?

    That's in the back of my mind. This morning our iPad is acting up. Screen locks up, picture is not clear.

    Spectrum did not reply if an update was done on 03/18/21.

    Oh, no updates were done on the tablet in question, only a few months old.

    More info.

    Other streaming services work well.

    ie, Netflix, YouTube are okay.

    Are you getting an error code on the Samsung tablet when the app drops?

    No error code. App just drops out.

    Other streaming services, Netflix, YouTube and Google TV streaming well.

    The Spectrum TV app will load without incident and I am able to watch for a few minutes before it just drops out.
