Why would Spectrum provide a "World" DVR on it's network if you can't access it remotely?

I must have been provided a "World" - no clock - DVR from Spectrum. Had I known that it cannot be access remotely I would not have accepted it. I like to program and review my programming remotely and I can no longer do this with the "World" DVR. I feel deceived since I was not told about this beforehand. The KITA is that I'm being charged the same monthly fee as a remotely accessible one! What's going on?

    The "clock" DVRs have a better interface, IMHO. The on-demand listings are clearly itemized in order by season and episode. The guide is much cleaner looking and less jumbled. Unfortunately, I have been told the World interface will eventually be downloaded to these DVRs.
