IP Goes to Router UI even when Port Forwarding is Configured

After Numerous Issues with our old router, Spectrum "upgraded" us to the Sercomm SAX1V1R router. Now if you have this router and your active on this forum, then you know it doesn't have a Web UI for configuring it and you are forced to use the My Spectrum App. Anyways, after literally a month of troubleshooting I was finally able to set up port-forwarding to my web server in the My Spectrum App, which kept crashing initially when I tried to configure anything. But even with port-forwarding configured, the IP continues to take me to the triggering landing page of the router. Any suggestions on how to bypass this?
