Internet outages related to weather/heat?

sss4sss4 Posts: 2

Over these hot summer months, we have noticed that our internet service goes out or at least becomes intermittent if it gets too hot outside, like about 90 degrees. The is at the modem/router since the wi fi is still received. Months ago a Spectrum person came out to look and did not find any issues. On colder days, its totally fine. Is this something that happens to other people and do you have any tips or tricks? Thanks!

    Hi @SSS4,

Since we have had so much crazy weather, a lot can change in four months! I would call Spectrum to set up a signal and drop line test. If you rent Internet equipment, let them know about the intermittent problems with the signals in 90 degree heat. Have them check your signals and drop line.
