How do I fast forward or rewind a predefined time?

DorlowDorlow Posts: 3 ✭✭

So, just switched from DirecTV stream to charter tv streaming yesterday. So far it's ok... (Did it because it's saving me $100 a month.). I'm using it with a Roku. I like having one device that does Netflix, Hulu and tv all in one. But, with DirecTV now and other services I've used, I could watch a recorded show and, when I got to commercials, I could hit a button that fast forwarded like 20 seconds exactly. Then I step through til I hit the end of the commercials. With spectrum tv on Roku, I hit fast forward and it goes really really slow. I hit fast forward again and it's crazy fast. In a second, I've fast forwarded like 3 minutes. Kind of annoying.

Hi Dorlow, Welcome to our Community!

While watching recorded or on-demand content on the Roku you can use the forward or back arrow keys on your Roku remote which will skip 10 seconds with each press.
