Lost connectivity to my hosting provider(many did) yesterday..why?

Yesterday, all of a sudden, I could no longer access any URL that is serviced by my hosting provider: ICDSOFT.COM.

I was unable to connect for several hours.

I had no trouble with any other URL.

I would very much like to be assured that this was a one-off, and isn't something that would

repeat itself.

    It is extremely inconvenient whenever long-haul contracted internet transport is disrupted, whether by weather-related issues or deliberate attacks by foregn and domestic players. However, there is virtually nothing that Spectrum can do to restore your links to the failed sites. You can help prevent outages by using safe internet practices and using hardware or software firewalls and other security devices and well-behaved software applications.
