I need to renegotiate my service but I have some issues that make talking on the phone difficult

I've been putting off renegotiating my service for years because I have some disabilities that make talking on the phone difficult. I've just been paying a very large bill for services we no longer use because i didn't know how to manage my account without calling. I assume I could go in person, but that's also a bit difficult for other reasons. Would an agent be able to help me through chat? I was told I had to call in the past but hoping that may have changed. Just wanted to know before I waste anyone's time. Thank you.

    Welcome @Whatokay!

Thank you for sharing! Our mods may have ideas. Spectrum has always been really supportive of people with disabilities. You might also want to get a Twitter account, or log in if you already have one and see what they say Log in and follow @Ask_Spectrum.

I am thinking though for a specific service change, someone may need to call. Is their a friend or family member that you would trust with your account credentials who could help with this? I often advise people to write down, (or type out on their devices) like two to three options that they would like when considering services changes. Than they have a list of options they want and can discuss that with the CSR. Spectrum has a phone number to communicate with a disability support specialist and discuss options. That number is (844) 762-1301

You can always respond here telling us what you are thinking about doing. For additional support, I have also provided a link to all the different services that Spectrum has for people with medical or developmental conditions. These may be of help to you! Here's the link. Hello @Whatokay!

Maintaining service at the best possible price is very important and we do want to make sure you're receiving the best service plan to meet your needs. Currently in order to make any account or service changes you would need to speak to customer service either by phone or in person at any Spectrum store. I do apologize for any inconvenience.
