Sender rejected, no AUP#

I'm seeing a very few emails rejected when sending through Spectrum/Time Warner.. But there's no AUP given, so I can't really be sure.

Please see https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/understanding-email-error-codes for more information.)

I assume that since I'm rejecting the message because it's spam, my dsn is also getting rejected because of same - but the 'sender rejected' confuses me. Can someone confirm my assumption is correct? Thanks!

    Hi and welcome!

From the description you provided, it sounds like the email is possibly being blocked, either because the individual email is rejected or the domain was identfied as spam.

Can you clarify, are you sending a message and your email is being rejected from a Spectrum email or is the error coming from a message sent to a Spectrum email?

Normally it's rejecting a bounce message. Occasionally - but rarely - it's rejecting a reply of mine. In both cases I'm sending outbound email through Spectrum. So the email is coming into my server; I'm rejecting it; the DSN gets sent out via Spectrum, and - I assume - Spectrum is seeing the same thing that I am and also rejecting it. :) I'm puzzled by the lack of details from Spectrum, though. I'm receiving the rejection - but no AUP number.

Thanks. Are you using an email client or sending directly through Spectrum webmail?

Postfix on a Linux server, sending to smtp-server.neo.rr.com on port 587.

Can you try re-sending through Spectrum webmail and see if you get the same or similar error?

It's an automatic bounce - not sure I can do that. But I'll try.
