APL-1999 Error Code

I just started getting the APL-1999 Error code and I’ve tried all the troubleshooting suggestions I’ve read in the forums. Apple TV has been working for about a month without this error code so I am unsure why this has just cropped up now.

It looks like this is a spectrum app issue and that nothing will get resolved and that the only option is to switch providers since I do not want to continue to watch my TV on my iPad mini or my small cell phone.

    Hi @PJD, welcome to our community!

    Sorry for the trouble with our app. Will you please verify these are the troubleshooting steps you have attempted, and try them if you have not?

    Reboot the internet modem by removing the power cord for 30 seconds before plugging it back in, wait for the online light to come on and then reboot the router in the same manner.

    Reinstall the App on the Apple TV. Is it working correctly on other devices?

    Run a speed test while near the Apple TV by going to speedtest.net. Are you getting your full speed consistently? Are other streaming services having any problems on the Apple TV?
