Epson 545 printer connection

For some reason, my Epson printer is seen as "Connected" on the app, but it doesn't have an IP address or a Hostname assigned. Only the MAC address is there. So this is an issue and I can't figure out why this is happening.

I've seen this thread on the forum but no resolution was provided. Why isn't the new spectrum router providing an IP address to the printer to complete the set up?

I doubt if the problem is with the router or the LAN or the WLAN unless Epson support thinks so. That printer is not exactly plug-and-play. It does Ethernet as well as ad hoc Wi-Fi as well as infrastructure Wi-Fi. I’d contact Epson support for guidance in order to save yourself some time because of how well-positioned they are to know how to get it networking and whether something is wrong with the printer. Who knows which types of connectivity you’re trying to set up and what steps you’ve followed and what confirmation and alert dialogs you got along the way and, if you had to explain all of that, they’d be the best ones to spend that time with.
