Why such a slow speed the last week .

I am the only one home. During Christmas. Use 1 device at a time. I have noticed the speed going down dramatically in the last week at least. I took a speed test and am receiving less than 1 mb. it is currently down to .055 mb, I am supposed to get up to 200 mb I am wondering what they are doing that can suck up all that speed! I understand when everyone is home getting on multiple device but not during day! I am in southern California. It is a sunny day and it took like 5 minutes to connect to this web page. I reset the modem and it only speeds up for like a minute and then goes low again. I

    Hello @darkthings,

    I would try a reset of your model and router, followed by a reboot of your equipment, If the problem persists, call Spectrum to arrange for a signal and drop line test, where a tech would need to be sent to your home to do the test, and if needed, update any Internet equipment that you rent from Spectrum.

    Hi @darkthings, sorry for the trouble with your internet.

    If the reboot doesn't help please make sure the coaxial cable is firmly connected to the modem and wall outlet. If possible make sure you do any testing using a device connected with an ethernet cable.
