On Demand not working

My on demans stopped working it comes up with error code and the channels lag when you try to switch them by 8 seconds... tried rebooting the Box tried unplugging the Box and plugging it back in neither one works does anybody have any suggestions Before I have a technician Come out I have 2 tvs and this is only happening On 1TV the other one works just fine

    Welcome to the Community! A lot of times, On Demand problems can be caused by the following:

    1.) System Maintience

    2.) Poor Signals/a bad drop line

    3.) Box problems/Device problems

    If the second TV works fine, that kind of rules out signal issues.

    Is this a box or streaming device?

    4.) Make and model of box? Streaming Device? Operating System running streaming device?

    5.) Do you have Spectrum Internet? If you do, reboot your modem and router. What for 30 minutes? Check for lag and response time on the problematic TV./device.

    6.) Report these issues back to us in this post. If you still have problems, contact Customer Service with the answers to these questions and at that point, a tech should come out to investigate if this is not resolved.

    Have cable and Internet internet's working fine the other tvs work and fine it's just 1TV it's a hyson TV hooked up to the cable Box I tried disconnecting the mode on disconnecting the router unplugging the power restarting the cable Box nothing's working

    @Thanks for the updated information @123Dakota_123,

    You will need a tech to come out to check the signal levels for On Demand on that TV. On Demand programs are the most sensitive to signal and line issues. When you set up the services call, make sure to tell the CSR that the other TV's On Demand content is fine.. Tune to On Demand on the problematic TV so that he can take a signal reading.

    Do you have a splitter connected to the TV with the On Demand problems? Because splitters split the signal strength, they are often a major source of problems for issues like this, Disconnect the splitter, if that is applicable to your situation and see if that makes a difference.

    Signal is fine....there. is an 8 sec delay. When switchin channels. Pluusss a few channels are missin on 1 tv only along with on demand error code

    Hi @123Dakota_123,

    If you are sure your signal is fine, there could be an issue with the box itself. Get a tech out to check this issue. As you mentioned this is only on one TV, the tech should check the box on that TV. Your box may have to be replaced. In most cases if this was signal related, you would have the same problem on both TV's. (Unless you have a separate line coming in for both sets. That could be signal problems on one line, but not the other.)

    Your tech will probably need to replace the box. But he should come out to make sure that all conditions with the one box that could be causing a problem are checked out completely. Tune to On Demand when he is there,
