My Spectrum App opens browser and nothing else

I'm having trouble logging into the My Spectrum app. I was able to log into it once when we first received the hardware, but since then the app has updated and now just opens a browser window when I push the 'Get Started' button. Logging into Spectrum via the browser just goes to my account info without ever returning to the app. Closing the browser just returns to the welcome screen and pressing Get Started just opens it again.
I've tried running the app on multiple android devices, resetting the hardware, clearing the app data and cache, reinstalling the app, installing the most recent update, and nothing has had any effect.

Sorry for the trouble with the app. By resetting the hardware do you mean the modem and router? If not will you please try rebooting them now?
When you log in through the browser is it showing correct account information including account balance and everything?
Yes I mean the modem and the router. I tried both soft reset through the Spectrum website as well as cycling the power to both devices. It hasn't made a difference.
And yes after logging in on the browser it displays the correct account information. Unfortunately the features I need are only accessible through the my spectrum app, no the spectrum website.
I was able to locate your account and I am seeing that the modem has been online for 12 days, so please try a manual restart of the modem again.
If the issue contnues after restarting again, what is it you are trying to do and what device are you using (model and OS)?
