Cannot configure Outlook to work with Spectrum while traveling

Interesting that Spectrum wants to point to Outlook. I see that all the time in the tech world. The SAME outlook works just fine with Yahoo mail. Yes, I have tried on multiple computers and combinations so, no need going through all those hoops. Hmm. This it NOT a matter of having the wrong settings in Outlook. Spectrum webmail works fine, most of the time, however that is a different way to connect. Spectrum webmail sometimes will not send emails either, it is a hit or miss. Is there any plan to actually fix this issue with the Mail Server to Outlook connection and maybe make the Spectrum webmail more consistent? Please don't imply it is an Outlook problem. If there is not going to be a fix, just say so. If there is, I would like to hear about it. Respectfully, Thanks.

    Hi @DavidG, welcome to our community!

    I'm sorry for the trouble you are having with our email service. It is true that we are limited in the assistance we can provide for any software that is not ours, but I can still provide some support, and other users here may have suggestions that could help,

    I'm not aware of any known issues. Most users I help with mail client issues are having a problem with their account, server settings or, internet service.

    Are you getting an error message? Will you please confirm if you are set up as POP3 or IMAP, and the other server settings you are using?

    You mentioned while traveling; Is this issue only happening on certain networks? Do you have any issues with Outlook while at home? Are you using a VPN, Proxy, Firewall/Antivirus or other software which might impact your connection? If so, please pause those and check if any issues persist.

    Hi William...thank you for your timely response. I am overseas in a VPN tunnel. I will try systematically eliminating items to see if something shakes it loose and let you know.
