Great question. Two things...
You can only have one active modem on the account at a time.
However, you can get your own modem (just make sure it is compatible with our system) and have that on hand if ours goes out, or activate it and hold onto ours in case yours go down.
If you do get your own to activate, and hold onto ours, do not forget to return ours if and when you close the account. You will be responsible for it until it is back in our hands.
