How can I pause and rewind live TV using the Spectrum TV app?
Spectrum TV App Supported Devices
iMac 27inch late 2009 will not play (watch tv) on safari 12.1.2

I keep seeing a notice update browser and the only browser it will work on is Firefox. Why are there so many issues with safari and videos? There are no further updates for High Sierra is there a way to watch on Safari? This is my default browser and this is embedded in imac. The other browsers are lacking in one aspect or another and it is a pain to switch back and forth. Rebooting the spectrum devices offer no remedy and neither does clearing cache and resetting.

Good evening and welcome to the Spectrum Community @vonhw .
If your browser is not be able to process or handle the various cookies/data requirements needed as the streaming service evolves to meet overall customer demand you would need to use a different browser. If Apple is no longer updating your version of Safari then that renders the browser obsolete in their minds and we do not build for previous versions of browsers. Our apps are designed to use the latest versions to their fullest to deliver the best stream possible. If your computer can support the latest versions of other browsers, you would be best served by using one of those.
Thanks for the great question.
