Why is spectrum tv app keep shutting off after 4 hours ?

I know this was asked already and the answer was that it was part of your app. The discussion was closed so I could not comment so I started this thread. I would just like to state that I hate the policy of shutting down the app every 4 hours. I fall asleep to the tv. When it stops, I wake up. We are not children, if we want our tvs on all night, that app should stay on. The tv stays on anyway so why not just let the app stay on? We pay for continuous service and it should be on our terms. Thank you.
