Constant internet disconnection on smart tv

Last month, the community Wi-Fi at my apartment changed from a general username and password to individual username and password for each apartment. Since that time, my smart tv experience’s disconnection on a regular basis. I have to reconnect and sometimes before I can even choose a network app, it has disconnected again. The time frame of when this started correlates to when the usernames and passwords were changed. How can we correct this problem?
