Why won't my new modem connect?

Hi everyone,

I just moved into a new house and got set up with Spectrum. I picked up the modem and router today, but when I connect the modem to the port with the coax cable, it won't ever connect (the light just keeps flashing). I've tried it at four different ports in the house and with two different cables. It keeps flashing for 30+ minutes and then comes up with an error message on the app. All the equipment and cables are brand new and from Spectrum.

Any ideas about what the problem might be?
