Home phone disconnects

Lately when using phone after sometime phone line diconnects. This has happened 3 times to different numbers. Never on short calls. Could this be a modem issue? I have changed handsets so that is not the problem.

    Hello @bobrunner1,

    Try unplugging the modem for five minutes and plugging it back in, if this does not solve the problem, you should set up a tech visit to check your signals and drop line. If the signals coming from the drop line are bad, the tech will need to replace the drop. If the signals are good, the tech will replace the modem.
