Hole left in the wall

Are we going to get High Split as when my new router and wifi were fitted by Spectrum there is a hole left in the wall with the cables hanging through attached to a metal box. I was told that this will have to stay like this until high split comes in. This is very unsatisfactory and if I were to try to sell my home would be very off putting to prospective buyers.

    Hey @kwcoles, welcome to our community!

    High split is coming to all areas, however I can't think of a reason that you would need to have a hole in hanging cables until then. High split still uses the same coaxial wiring in your home, might it have been Fiber service coming to your area? Are you able to share any pictures?
