Outage Notification Settings
I tried to set up a second phone number to receive outage text messages. The system allowed including a second contact phone number, but did not allow more than one to receive texts. So I tried to set up the second number to receive the outage emails, but my text message option on the first number disappeared. So it seems the limitation is not only one contact for texts, but it is also either texts or emails. Seems unnecessarily too restrictive. Now, if I am wrong & the system does allow two forms of outage notifications or two outage contacts, then the system is horribly not friendly and confusing.

Thank you for reaching out to us in regards to setting up your service alerts. You should have the option to have both a phone number and email address for service notifications. When you are trying to set this up are you using our My Spectrum App or our Website? -Lyn
