How can I block email from specific country? I use Spectrum webmail. *@*.country_code not working.

I'm getting a lot of spammy emails apparently from Germany. The suggested blocking method would be *@*.de but that doesn't work in the Blocked Senders area of the webmail client's filter settings. Is there another method? Or can I do it in my account at the spectrum.net website? Please advise, because this is getting ridiculous. I don't want to buy Office 365, which has a feature for that in their Outlook app. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Welcome to our community! While you can block domains, you cannot block entire countries. So if there was something like 'company.de', you would be able to block that but not just any email that contains .de.

Settings

Filters & Blocked Senders

Create New Filter

Name it anything such as .de

In the box that says "E-Mail Addresses and Keywords" simply type .de

You can either select Delete the E-Mail or have it go to into the Spam folder

Select Create on the bottom

I am having the same issue with spam from Germany. I tried the same thing you tried, but no luck. Very frustrating.
