How do I get my Desktop Pc to connect with my 2000 model TV about 30 feet away in a separate room?

I would liket to connect my PC so that it connects with my older model tv in a seperate room about 30 feet away. Do I need to get a new television set or can I transfer the PC to the old tv with special connection equipment. Please advise. Thank you

    Welcome to Community Forums! I would certainly love to help. However, I am not sure I understand your inquiry. What are you connecting the computer to the TV for? Is it for streaming?
