Dolby digital 5.1 using streaming app

So new to spectrum here and I can’t seem to find any information regarding 5.1 audio using the streaming app on Apple TV. No channels seem to have 5.1 sound, what’s up with that?

    Are you getting 5.1 audio through other apps on the Apple TV?

    Yes indeed 5.1 and Atmos from other apps.

    Is there something official from spectrum stating whether yes or no on this issue? I can’t find anything online.

    I can confirm that the xumo box is streaming spectrum in 5.1. But honestly the xumo has nothing on the Apple TV. Apple TV is much better.
