Xumo Spectrum One Questions

Looking at the current Spectrum One - Xumo promotion as a way to help my 85 yo mom save some money on her internet, TV and mobile bills. A few questions:

  1. The offer is advertised at $49.99 per month for 12 months. What is the cost after the promotional period?
  2. I understand that the Xumo device is preinstalled with the Spectrum TV app, but does the price above include the actual TV service? or do you have to pay for an additional Spectrum TV package to actually watch content via the Spectrum TV app?

    You do need a TV package for the Xumo streaming box.
