trying to find solution so I can keep VPN enabled. The workaround is disable VPN to send email. I'm on Spectrum.

Thank you for reaching out to us about the error message you are receiving when sending out emails. Have you checked to see if your Email server information is correct? The correct information can be found with the Email server link. I also recommend trying our webmail option to see if you have are able to send out emails with this option. -Lyn
Just follow that link for the gory details and remediate the situation accordingly and disable or bypass the VPN until things cool off with that IP address.
Otherwise consider whether your VPN provider markets their product mainly for public/open networks rather than your secure home network and use the thing accordingly.
