Why will my computer not pick up Wifi when the TV is logged into Wifi?

We got a new LG smart TV. If it is logged into and using wifi, the computer in the same room will not find the signal (no internet). If we turn the TV off, the computer will pick it up and log in. How can there not be enough strength for a smart TV and a PC?

    Welcome to our community! It doesn't sound like there's an issue with the strength of the signal or the bandwidth. Typically if you turn on one device and another disconnects or won't connect, it is an issue with interference. Are you able to use a wired connection for either the TV or the PC?
