When will the spectrum app get Dolby surround?

When will the spectrum app get Dolby surround? It is crazy this app does not even have Dolby surround yet. Also, my understanding is that Spectrum is looking to push everyone toward using the app, but the Spectrum app has many features that are lacking versus competitors. I use the Xbox to watch tv.
