Will a universal remote change channels in Spectrum app on Roku device?

If I bought a universal remote control that was designed to control Roku devices (or any other streaming device), and it had number buttons and channel up/down buttons, would those buttons function in the Spectrum TV app? It would be much faster and simpler than calling up the guide—or any other menu—and scrolling.

    Hi @frazier67, welcome to our community!

    The Spectrum TV app does support entering channel numbers, but I'm not sure if the Roku itself is programmed to accept those inputs nor can we guarantee the functionality of 3rd party remote. Xumo is one example of a device that has a numpad on its remote which works with our app.
