Repeated Problem with Server Timing out on MacBook Mail App
I have had ongoing problems with my Mail app on my MacBook Pro - Operating System and Apps are all updated daily and are current.
Intermittently, my mail gets hung up - almost daily as of late - with the following error message:
Online Status: Connections to the server "mail.twc.com" on the default ports timed out.
After troubleshooting, I can't see there is a problem with any of my settings:
Username: [includes my full email address] - for both incoming and outgoing
Host Name: mail.twc.com - for both incoming and outgoing
Incoming Port: 993 - uses TLS/SSL
Outgoing Port: 587 - uses TLS/SSL
Note: I am using IMAP.
May I get some assistance as to how to correct this problem?
