Hi does Spectrum usually call to tell you that your cable boxes are about to expire? I just got a call like that and think it might be a scam

    Welcome to our community! Typically the only time that we would call regarding equipment would be if you have a digital adapter rather than a cable box, since the digital adapters are being phased out. There would also be post cards in the mail and emails sent notifying you as well as providing next steps.
