Why Do Spectrum Paper Bills Not Allow Enough Time?

Here's a puzzler.

My latest paper bill arrived Jan. 27, and states "amount due on Jan. 30."

The bill also says "Issue Date: Jan. 20."

Three days to pay is too short of a time, obviously.

Nor is this a new problem. Last month, the bill arrived Dec. 27, and stated "amount due on Dec. 30". And that bill also said "Issue Date: Dec. 10."

So my question is this: if bills are issued on the 10th of the month, why do these bills take 10 days to get to my mailbox?

What am I missing?

    Good morning @rmkel !

Sorry for any confusion about your billing statement. Bills are printed monthly and are usually due on the same day. You can always view your current and past billing statements anytime by accessing them online through logging in to your Spectrum account at https://www.spectrum.net/ or through the My Spectrum App.

For your convenience, we do offer paperless billing and you can also elect to enroll in automatic payments. If you are interested in these options, you can find more information at Billing & Payment FAQs.

    Thanks for the question!

Thanks for comment, James, I appreciate it.

So, just to remind you, my question is this: if bills are issued on the 10th of the month, why do these bills take 10 days to get to my mailbox?
