There is no power outage issues but my cable cox shows E-3 for over 30 minutes. What can I do?

Box stuck on E-3 for a long time. How can I get my cable stations back?..

    Thank you for reaching out to us. I was able to locate your account using your registration information. I am not seeing any active concerns in the area. It sounds like the box may need to be reset. This can be done by unplugging the box from the power and the cable line for 3-5 minutes. Please let me know if this helps.  -Lyn
