Android app only works if it has the focus

On my Pixel 7 if the app doesn't have the focus it shuts off. This is a fairly recent issue - this wasn't a problem until recently.

    We're sorry to hear about this issue with the application. Is this the only device that is experiencing this issue with the app quitting? Also, can you please offer some further clarity as to what you mean by "if the app doesn't have the focus"? Are you referring to poor picture quality with the stream, picture in picture, multitasking, etc.?
