Spectrum Guide Closed Captioning Tip and a Bug

Here's a tip. If you find your Spectrum Guide closed captioning window surrounding the text covering the screen on some commercials and shows, reset your closed captioning settings and than they should work properly.

A bug- If you are watching Standard Definition Programing and the station has captions on the bottom of the screen you might see the top and bottom of sentences chopped off slightly if the text has two or more lines going across the screen. I have seen this on METV, Flix, and even on HBO, which should be HD, sometimes compromises HD movies. They only run them in the correct aspect ratio if the director insists that they do that.
