Why will only a few episodes of my tv shows record?

Why will only a few episodes of my tv shows record, even though I have the full series set up to record? The episodes are on demand, but I don't want to watch them on demand. Makes no sense to have the entire series set up to record and only records the ones it want!

    Welcome to our community! Which show(s) are you having issues with? Usually the issue with the DVR not recording every episode has to do with whether or not the network has categorized it as a series or listed the episodes as new, but we're happy to look into things.
