Home phone has no dial tone

My landline doesn’t have a dial tone. I have unplugged everything and plugged in again. Still no dial tone.

    Is the voice/tel1 light on your modem lit up? Are there any messages on yours phones screen (if it has one)?

    my land line says no line on my phone

    Hi @nextbulding878! Sorry for the trouble with your phone. Have you reboot your modem, and is the tel 1/voice light lit up?

    I'm having the same trouble connecting to my phone. Tel one is lit up and blinking but still no dial tone. I've rebooted my modem several times and no change.

    Hi @Lorijean717, welcome!

    A blinking tel light means it thinks the line is in use or off hook. Please make sure the telephone cord is firmly pushed into your phone and tel 1 port on the modem. If you have a cordless phone, try rebooting it by removing the power cord from the base and plugging it back in, and check for any error messages on the screen of your phone when it comes back on.
