Why no video store on spectrum app via xumo?

in Spectrum TV App Feedback - XUMO

Its on the app via ROKU. I have a xumo TV and 2 xumo's from spectrum and I can't rent a movie.

    Hello and welcome to the Spectrum Community.

    At this time most devices that use the Spectrum TV app do not have the ability to rent movies. They only have the ability to play back movies that were rented on devices that can rent them. Currently the only Spectrum TV app that can rent is a Roku and the other spot is at the website here.

    On my Xumo box, there's a video store under the On Demand menu that shows movies for rent. But I don't know if it actually works because I haven't rented anything.
