Xumo remote cursor moves 2x spaces in the guide

With very little effort I have found 3 posts that have the same issue but mods keep closing those posts saying no one else is reporting this issue. This happens in the full screen guide and the mine guid, every directional push moves 2 spaces, making it very difficult to select anything. This only happens in the Spectrum TV guide, the remote works perfectly with other apps and the Xumo box itself.
