How to remove recently watched shows on Apple TV

in Spectrum TV App Feedback - Apple Devices & Apple TV

I am trying to delete the recently watched tv shows from my Apple TV. I’ve tried “clear recently watched “ on the app with no luck. I’ve rebooted the modem and router and Apple TV OS is current. Suggestions?

    Have you tried resetting the Apple Tv as well?
