Spectrum app and Fire Tablet
Anyone else having issues with the Spectrum app on Fire tablets? DGE-1001 errors since the app updated on March 20. All of the usual troubleshooting has not worked.

DGE-1001 is a connectivity error. Have you tried restarting the modem on the account?

No, since Spectrum apps on other device types continue to work just fine.

The app authenticates and communicates with the device through the modem. Please try restarting the modem and restarting the Fire Tablet and let us know if you are still getting an error code.

So, this app can only work when in my home network to authenticate through the modem?

No, you can use it away from home, but restarting the home modem usually resolves most issues, including the type of error you are reporting.
A couple follow up questions:
- Are you currently away from home?
- You mentioned that "All of the usual troubleshooting has not worked" - what troubleshooting have you tried?

Very weirdly, the modem just lost connection (which hasn’t happened in months). Rebooted it and, after it came back up, the Fire tablet is fine.
