Why do I continually need to change my password?

Having to reset your password EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO WATCH SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN HOME - IS THIS BEING CORRECTED? As it said earlier taking Spectrum with you is not true. FIX THE PROBLEM, which I know is known by Spectrum since I spoke with someone saying that they know there is a problem, when trying to keep unauthorized people off your account you are also inconveniencing those that want to want Spectrum when not at home. I will not continue to change my password; I will consider leaving Spectrum and go to You Tube TV. FIX THE PROBLEM.

    Thank you for reaching out to us about the concerns with password reset with our streaming App. Is this happening on all devices you use outside of your home or just one in particular? I am not sure what troubleshooting you have already completed but have you attempted to uninstall the App and reinstall the App yet? - Lyn

    The Spectrum TV app is limited to two simultaneous streams for each unique set of credentials while outside of the home network (on home network is unlimited). If you have more than two, you may be prompted to change the password. This is a security feature and can not be changed or overridden.

    One alternative is to create additional profiles for each user outside the home network by logging into your Spectrum account, selecting "More" -> Settings ->People and adding additional profiles for any location out the home by creating unique username and password credentials for each profile. This will prevent the additional log ins from being flagged, and should reduce the frequency that you are prompted to change the password.

    Yes this is happening on all devices. I think James_M might have the answer, I wish Spectrum could have told me this when I contacted their customer service multiple times regarding this issue. We had the NCAA game on several TV's using the same profile and it happened after that.
